Getting the best use of the Early Years Padagogy Wheel (from age 3 to 5 years)

Smart mobile devices and particularly tablets are a technological tool which, when joined with applications that have the appropriate content and design, is able to strengthen the cognitive development of young children and enhance knowledge acquisition through three different learning styles i.e. visual,  acoustic, and kinesthetic learning. Therefore, selecting age and content appropriate applications is similar to selecting appropriate books for the classroom.
The Early Years Padagogy wheel is intended to assist teachers to think logically about their entire teaching practice and give priority to the process of learning rather than the product. Teachers must provide opportunities, which intrinsically motivate children to be increasingly engaged in their own learning.
Using the Early Years Padagogy Wheel will help teachers show that it can be beneficial to children of this age, to get involved with apps which support the learner’s cognitive needs and development.

  5. There was once a time when the first wheel was invented. It broke all stereotypes and gave humanity the progress they are so proud of today.
Today, the wheel has been re-invented, refurbished and re-launched...Padagogy Wheel V5.5. It will give our kids the power to fly beyond boundaries, beyond the limitations of this body and universe. To the future ladies and gentlemen!

Thank u Ms Bushra for extending ur support towards quality teaching and learning, you always had been a great support in imparting knowledge and quality training for Early years, I read the article yesterday and downloaded apps which my students enjoyed thoroughly and it supported their learning. This pedagogy wheel will help us to explore new apps which will help teachers to design lessons according to SAMR model. A well designed resource taking students to higher level of thinking. Its amazing how you always strive to help people around you to get up to speed, your insurmountable urge to improve teaching and learning and your loyalty to system_your work is matchless.... And this pedagogy wheel is just a small showcase of what you are capable of.
One can clearly see your hard work to find apps, search their class/student utility according to different levels of blooms taxonomy.
    Really useful and incredible information!!!
Being linked to early years I can well imagine how wonderful help it would be for teachers and of course our students.
I myself have downloaded many apps and I must say ITS BRILLIANT.

  8. The best part about this is the hard work and dedication that has been put into designing this wheel. And then getting it vetted by the creator of the first Padagogy wheel deserve an applause in its own stead.
It is your job now to propagate this as much as possible so that the world knows that you have done and how much mid-night oil has been burnt into putting these apps together.
Probably the latest oil price hike is due to too much burning of mid-night oil.
    God Bless you!

  22. As an Early Years person, since long, I myself have practically witnessed and worked towards the initial steps taken in regards to incorporating information technology into the existing curriculum. And , I can well calculate and gadge the level of ease and inovation that this padagogy wheel is going to bring into various teaching and learning practices across the domain.
As an early years teacher and dealing with the age group from 3 to 5 years, it was always a challenge to search for and come up with the games that could not only justifiably enhance the learning experience for the children but at the same time should also be progressive in terms of SAMR model(which is necessary for competing with the world around, while living through 21st century).......
On behalf of my teachers and management, I would like to thank Ms.Bushra Khan and all else who had been part of this tremendous idea till its practical form. They truely have taken this initiative of IT inculcation to the next level while facilitating all the EY Campuses at their best !!
